A Renaissance recipe describes this dessert as follows:

“Brandied Chestnuts covered in Chocolate“.

We decided to propose a modern version inspired by our excursions in the land of Composer Mozart & have decided to add a Chocolate liqueur from the country of Austria.

Our Roasted Chestnuts are left to steep in Chocolate liqueur.

We add Dark Chocolate & Butter to form our Ganache.

This mix is ultimately covered in White Chocolate & a drop of Dark Chocolate to complete the look.
